Denouden issues statement regarding OCPC investigation

The vice-chair of the Waterloo Regional Police Services Board is finally speaking out about an investigation by the Ontario Civilian Police Commission.
A brief statement from Kim Denouden was emailed to the media on Thursday afternoon.
Denouden allegedly made inappropriate comments to another board member during a private conversation.
“Rest assured, I have always had every intention to act reasonably and professionally in the course of my duties as a member of the Police Services Board and will continue to do so in the future. Now that the investigation is over, I look forward to continuing my duties as a Board member and working towards resolving
important issues presently before the Board.”
No hearing was called for by the OCPC which has completed its investigation.
