Five years and $63.5 million later, a massive patient care development project has been completed at Kitchener’s Grand River Hospital.
Grand River Hospital’s patient care development has provided the site with a wide range of expanded services.
Over the years improvements have included a new patient registration atrium with more elevators and more medical surgical beds.
The renovations and other improvements began in 2008.
GRH spokesperson, Mark Karjuluoto says they were able to stay within their $63.5 million budget.
Other upgrades include a new physiotherapy space and a renovated inpatient oncology unit.
