Winning weekend for Rangers

The Kitchener Rangers came back to defeat the Niagara IceDogs 5-3 at The Aud on Sunday afternoon.

Rookie Justin Bailey had a goal (10) and assist in the victory. Kitchener native Derek Schoenmakers potted his first as a Ranger since being picked up in a trade last week. Defender Max Iafrate also scored his first of the season.

The Rangers have now won two in a row and five of their last seven games. They also beat the Sarnia Sting 5-1 on Friday night.

Kitchener is home to Brampton on Friday. 570 News has the pre-game show at 7pm. The Rangers also play in Barrie on Saturday and Sudbury on Sunday afternoon.
