Ringing in 2013 here

You can ring in 2013 with the entire family in all three of Waterloo Region’s cities today.
Kitchener’s celebration will be the first to get underway, with children’s activities starting at 4pm.
They are even closing part of King Street down for the first time. Blues music will be featured on the main stage beginning at 8 o’clock.
Here are some of the other events planned for city hall:
- Arts and crafts
- Kiddie countdown at 6pm inside the Rotunda
- Free skating
- 7pm the Rotunda gets transformed into Club Rotunda! Live DJ featuring Attila, dance floor, music, and gaming stations
Kitchener Minor Baseball will also be gathering gently used winter clothing for the less fortunate.

Waterloo
A family celebration in Waterloo Public Square will run from 6 until 10pm.
You can skate on the rink and there will be an early countdown for the kids starting at 9 o’clock.
- Free skating at Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex and RIM Park
- from 7 until 9pm
- Free public swimming at Rec. Complex’s Swimplex from 7 to 8:30pm

Free skating at Hespeler Arena from 6 until 8pm.
