Regional police seize cash and drugs, charge Hamilton man

A Hamilton man has been arrested by Waterloo regional police for charges related to trafficking following an investigation into stolen vehicle parts.

In December, 2025, members of the Street Crime Team began an investigation. Several warrants were issued in Hamilton which led to the seizure of not only vehicle components, but a large amount of cash and suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and oxycodone pills.

A 32-year-old Hamilton man was arrested and faces several charges including:

  • Three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking;
  • One count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking Under $5,000; and
  • One count of Trafficking in Stolen Goods Under $5,000.

He was held for a bail hearing.
