Kitchener Wilmot Hydro crews have almost fully restored power to 145 homes.

Crews arrived on scene on Waterloo street in Wilmot after a late-night hit and run.

Regional Police say an unknown driver sheared off a telephone pole. The collision happened shortly before midnight. Anyone with information is asked to come forward.

Affected areas included Waterloo street between Huron and Arnold, Shade street and part of Perth.
