Construction complete: Access to ROW Airport from roundabout restored

Travellers headed to the Region of Waterloo (ROW) International Airport in Breslau will no longer have to detour.
Access to the YKF airport was limited earlier this summer when Fountain St. North was closed at the Kossuth Rd. and Fairway Rd. roundabout.
The Region of Waterloo said the closure was required for culvert replacement and the work was expected to take about 10 weeks, starting July 27.
Drivers were still able to get to YKF by following posted detours to navigate the closure, or by using the other end of Fountain St. N.
In a post on social media on Friday, the airport said the construction was completed ahead of schedule and Fountain St. N has reopened at the roundabout.
