You will likely see plenty of support for the Barrie Colts at the Aud tonight.
The Colts have the Kitchener-Waterloo connection of Tanner Pearson, Mark Scheifele and Colin Behenna.
They have combined for 186 points this season.
Pearson is also just seven points back of Ottawa’s Tyler Toffoli for the OHL scoring lead.
Barrie was the league’s worst team last season and currently sit 5th in the Eastern Conference.
“We made a couple good trades in the off-season that helped our club out a lot…now we just have to keep it going in the playoffs.” Pearson tells 570 News.
“Playing in our hometown is something fun and special. Last year I got my first OHL goal in Kitchener, which was a great moment for me.”
