With the arrival of the 2011 Ontario Provincial Election, voters in the province will once again go to the polls to choose the leadership that will govern Ontario for the near future. With so much riding on the decision, 570 News is well aware of how important “information” is when it comes to you making an informed decision on October 6th.
With that in mind, 570 News and www.570news.com will continue to be the best sources in the Region for all things election – both locally and provincially.

Once again, 570 News and Rogers TV are teaming up to bring you coverage of a series of debates leading up to election day on Thursday October 6th. Please browse the list of debate dates and times below as well as details of our coverage plans. Of note the live debates on September 20th (Kitchener-Waterloo), 22nd (Cambridge) and 26th (Kitchener-Centre) will be simulcast on our website at www.570news.com. The debate on the 29th (Kitchener-Conestoga) will be simulcast on 570News radio.
Tuesday, Sept. 20th – Rogers TV Debate for Kitchener-Waterloo riding from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and will repeat at midnight. It will also air again on September 21st at 7:00am, 1:00pm and 9:00pm and September 24th at 8:00pm. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE DEBATE.
Thursday, Sept. 22nd – Rogers TV Debate for Cambridge riding from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and will repeat at midnight. It will also air again on September 23rd at 7:00am and 1:00pm, September 25th at 11:00am and on September 27th at 1:00pm. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE DEBATE.
Monday, Sept. 26th – Rogers TV Debate for Kitchener-Centre riding from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. This debate will air again on September 28th at 7:00am and 1:00pm as well as on October 1st at 1:00pm.

The Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce will also be hosting a number of Provincial Candidate Forums. These are the dates of the scheduled forums. The Chamber will be streaming the debates on their website, click here for the link.
Wednesday, September 21st – Kitchener-Waterloo riding from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Forbes Family Hall at RIM Park in Waterloo
Monday, September 26th – Kitchener-Conestoga riding from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Woolwich Memorial Centre in Elmira
Wednesday, September 28th – Kitchener-Centre riding from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Lyle Hallman Pool at the Grand River Recreational Complex in Kitchener
Then on election night, 570 News along with Rogers TV will have full coverage of all the local races and reaction to the polls from the key players as they come in.
While the local results will be of utmost importance, so too will be the provincial results – and we will have those for you as they come in as well.
