Summer school in session

It’s Day 3 of Summer School at Cameron Heights Highschool in Kitchener.
Site Supervisor, Dave Williamson says 1542 students from across the region are participating.
He says this is an average number of students, neither up, nor down from last year.
He says some students are there because of poor attendance or academic ability, while some just want to upgrade their marks for College or University.
The 18 day classes are open to students from Private, Public and Catholic schools, there are some adults as well.
The most popular make-up courses include Math, Science, or English.
Students can take up to two credits, this applies to those in Grade 9-12, Applied, Academic, or at the University or College level.
