Kitchener Home Invasion

A man and a woman were rushed to Grand River Hospital this morning after being attacked during a home invasion in Kitchener.
Regional Police say it happened just after midnight at an apartment on Traynor Avenue.
Police say three men – two of them masked – entered the apartment and attacked the residents before robbing them of some prescription drugs.
Police say the couple knew one of the men.
The residents – a man in his fifties and a woman in her forties – were treated for multiple facial cuts and bruises.
The investigation is continuing.
