What’s open/closed today?

It’s a holiday Monday which means a number of closures and service disruptions around the Region.
Municipal offices are closed and many municipal services are not operating.
However, garbage and recycling is operating on a normal schedule, while Grand River Transit is operating on a Sunday schedule.
Government-run liquor stores are closed today, as are beer stores.
In fact, most government offices are closed.
The big malls – Fairview Park, Conestoga and Cambridge Centre – are all closed.
Most retailers, in fact, are closed although some select drug stores are open.
There are no official fireworks displays scheduled in Waterloo Region.
