An update to the crash in Kitchener

A 24-year-old Aylmer male has been arrested after a crash in Kitchener involving a van that was reported stolen.
It happened just after 5 o’clock this morning on Victoria Street at Bruce Street.
Police say the van was heading southbound on Victoria when the driver lost control and struck a car. It then hit an electrical pole, leaving 1500 residents without power.
The driver of the van was arrested and transferred to Grand River Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 34 year old Guelph male, had minor injuries.
