Construction accident in Waterloo

The Ministry of Labour has been called in after a construction accident in Waterloo.

Regional Police say around 12:30 yesterday afternoon a crew was working on connecting natural gas pipes on Columbia Street West when one worker was struck by a pipe as it was being moved.  

Police say he was taken to Grand River hospital with upper back and shoulder injuries.
