Ignatieff in Kitchener

It was a party atmosphere at Bingemans Friday night, as Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff held a rally for his supporters. Hundreds of people crowded into a loud room, many wearing red and carrying Liberal signs.
Michael Ignatieff took to the stage for about a half hour. His passionate speech included several shots at his political rivals. He brought up the recent controversy plaguing Stephen Harper’s Conservatives, including accusations of election fraud and influence peddling.
Ignatieff also took shots at NDP leader Jack Layton, saying voting for the NDP would mean $72 billion in uncosted promises.
Liberal policy was also a part of Ignatieff’s speech including immigration and making post secondary education affordable.
