Ontario liquor hours could be extended for royal wedding

TORONTO, Ont. – Royal wedding watchers in Ontario may be allowed to celebrate the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton in their local pub.
Bars in the province could open early that day and be allowed to serve alcohol during breakfast.
The ceremony takes place at around 6 a.m. ET.
Some Torontonians 680News spoke to were keen on the idea.
“I think it’s a good idea, I think anytime to celebrate is always good,” Stephanie said.
“I am all for it, I mean, if there’s a demand, yea, go for it,” one man said.
There were other international events where bar hours were extended, such as on St. Patrick’s Day and during the World Cup soccer tournament.
