Cookie plant gets second chance

It appears the Colonial Cookies’ plant in Kitchener will be given a new lease on life.
Weston Foods is interested in buying the property according to a report from PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
The matter is expected to be dealt with in court on Tuesday.
This news could save hundreds of jobs.
Colonial was placed into receivership last month, over 320 unionized workers were employed there when it closed.
The report is over 200 pages.
