Four impaired driving charges laid in 24 hours: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) had a busy weekend in Wellington County.

The service said over a span of 24 hours, four drivers were stopped and charged with impaired driving-related offences.

Those drivers were from Erin, Guelph, Arthur and Belwood. All four were between the ages of 20-36.

“Licences suspended. Vehicles impounded. Court dates issued,” said OPP.

“There is never an excuse to drive impaired.”

The charges were laid between Saturday and Sunday morning.
