Police working to identify man after sexual assault in Waterloo

Police have made two arrests and are working to identify a third individual following a sexual assault in Waterloo.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) launched an investigation this summer following an incident June 27 in the University Ave. and Albert St. area.

Police say an adult female victim was sexually assaulted by multiple individuals within a residence.

Through an investigation, WRPS’ Special Victims Unit arrested a 23-year-old Wellesley man and 31-year-old Waterloo man.

They’ve both been charged with sexual assault and sexual assault causing bodily harm.

Investigators have now released images of a man they want to speak to relating to the incident.
