Sparky Anderson dies

Former Detroit Tigers manager and Hall of Famer Sparky Anderson has died at age 76.

A family spokesperson says Anderson died from complications from dementia.

He guided the Reds to World Series titles in 1975 and ’76 and then led the Detroit Tigers to one in 1984.

He won almost 22 hundred games as a manager.
