Original “Dano” dies

The actor who played “Dano” in the original version of television’s “Hawaii Five-0” has died. James MacArthur was 72.
MacArthur’s agent, Richard Lewis, said the actor died in Florida of “natural causes,” but no direct cause was specified.
MacArthur acted in several movies, including “Swiss Family Robinson” and “The Battle of the Bulge.”
He was the son of actress Helen Hayes and playwright Charles MacArthur.
