KidsAbility has launched a new initiative aimed at helping children who no longer qualify for government funded therapy.
Firefly Therapy Services will help to provide speech and occupational therapy at the Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph KidsAbility locations.
Officials say it’s a growing concern especially for parents of children who have reached school-age.
They say the program will assist not only these children, but also help to raise additional funds for existing programs.
KidsAbility assists over 4,400 children in Waterloo Region and Wellington County.
