Free dental services expanded

The province is giving about 7,700 low income children in Waterloo Region the chance to have good teeth.

The government is expanding free dental services for children 17 and under in families who have a net income of less than 20,000 dollars.

Families with access to other dental coverage will not be eligible.

The program, which will benefit 130,000 kids across Ontario, was announced today at the Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre.
