Man facing sex-related charges

A Cambridge man faces numerous sex-related charges for alleged incidents – some dating back 17 years.
Waterloo Regional Police say the accused is a 48-year-old man and “held a position of trust and authority in a local institution of worship and education.”
They say there are two alleged victims, who attended the same institution where they met the accused.
They were between 8 and 15 years of age at the time.
The man is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and sexual exploitation.
Police say the investigation focused on alleged incidents between 1993 and 2007.
