Local woman hit by rock

A 60 year old Cambridge woman is in hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a falling rock in the Niagara Glen.

The incident happened just after 4-pm yesterday.

She was rescued from the gorge by emergency crews and a Whirlpool jet boat.

No name has been released.
