A 21-year-old Kitchener man is facing charges after border inspectors found illegal weapons in a package at a Greater Toronto Area mail centre.
Knives and brass knuckles were among items seized after police arrested the man at his Kitchener home.
A border agency spokesperson says all packages that come into mail centres are inspected and this particular package was shipped from North Carolina.
David Charles Plummer is to appear in court on October 1st on two counts of possession of prohibited weapons.
