Rough Friday on markets

North American stock markets ended the week in the red.
The TSX lost 242 points on Friday, The DOW dropped by 324 points.

The Canadian dollar lost 1.76 cents to close at
94.28 cents U-S.

Bad job creation figures from the United States are getting the blame.

Economists say Canada seems very far ahead of its peers now — but that can’t be sustained for long because its economy is so tied to the U-S and Europe.
