Dolson Pool hoping to re-open

The City of Cambridge hopes to reopen John Dolson Pool on South Street today.
It was closed yesterday to allow for maintenance. While aquatics was suspended, other activities there were not affected. Area Recreational Manager Conny Smith says “As this pool is a salt water system, having the appropriate levels that meet water quality standards is of utmost importance.”
The maintenance involved routine water quality checks. The city suggests calling ahead if you plan to take in a swim at the pool today, just to be sure it has reopened.
