Rangers take offensive threat in 1st round

The Kitchener Rangers picked late in round one of Saturday’s OHL Draft.

But they found a player who could provide plenty of offence.

Centre Matia Marcantuoni averaged almost a point a game with the Toronto Marlboros this past season.

He was taken 18th overall.

Marcantuoni tells 570 News he’s a speed player who’s a playmaker.

Kitchener took defenceman Evan McEneny in round two and blueliner Jacob Trouba in round three.
