Some winter weather in the forecast for Waterloo Region

Some patchy light snow is expected in Waterloo Region through the morning today as we deal with the edge of a major winter storm hammering parts of the U.S.
The winter storm in the U.S. has left air travel in shambles in big cities like, Washington, Baltimore and New York City where there are hundreds of flight cancellations.
In Vancouver, a major effort continues to bring in snow in advance of the start of the 2010 Winter Olympics friday.
The forecast for the next week calls for highs in the ten degree range.
