Another Toyota recall

Over 3,000 vehicles in Canada are part of the latest recall by Toyota.

Toyota says the 2010 model of the Prius, along with just over 300 2010 Lexus HS250h vehicles are being recalled to update software in the vehicle’s anti-lock brake system.

The anti-lock braking system, in normal operation, engages and disengages many times per second as it senses and reacts to tire slippage.

Toyota says Prius vehicles produced since May 2009 and all HS250h vehicles are subject to the recall.

Meantime, officials in the United States are looking into complaints from several dozen Toyota Corolla drivers about steering problems.

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Agency has received about 80 complaints from drivers of 2009 and 2010 Corollas.
