Toronto Maple Leafs Complete Two Big Deals

It’s quite apparant that the Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager Brian Burke doesn’t take Sundays off.

Burke has completed a deal to send Niklas Hagman, Matt Stajan, Jamal Mayers and Ian White to the Calgary Flames in return for former All-Star defenceman Dion Phaneuf, six-foot-six defenceman Keith Aulie and winger Fredrik Sjostrom.

Burke wasn’t just done there. He also sent goaltender Vesa Toskala and forward Jason Blake to the Anaheim Ducks in return for J.S Giguere.
