Knights slay Rangers

The London Knights beat the Kitchener Rangers for the second time in five days, doubling Kitchener by a count of 6-3 last night at The Aud. Former Rangers Steve Tarasuk and Nazem Kadri had three point nights for London and Rangers goalie Brandon Maxwell was pulled for the second time in three games after allowing four goals on 17 shots. The Knights scored three power play goals in the game and move six points ahead of Kitchener for first place in the Midwest Division.
The Rangers will spend the weekend on the road, starting with a stop in Sudbury on Friday night. That will be followed by a visit to Barrie on Saturday. You can keep up with the Kitchener Rangers with Don Cameron and Gary Doyle on 570 News. Friday’s pregame coverage will start at 7 PM.
