Growth prediction from IMF

The International Monetary Fund is predicting global economic output at almost 4 per cent this year.

That is up from the previous estimate of 3.1 per cent.

But it also warns that stimulus measures must not stop dead or everything could go down the drain again.

It is projected Canada will see growth of 2.6 per cent,
slightly lower than the Bank of Canada’s latest forecast of 2.9 per cent.
