One person hurt at workplace

A woman has been airlifted to a Hamilton hospital with severe injuries after an industrial accident in Kitchener.

Police say she was operating a forklift at a manufacturing facility on Washburn Drive this afternoon.

The victim is in stable condition.

The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
