Welcome Winter Expo 2010

The new Waterloo Public Square welcomes the first annual Winter Expo 2010, starting today.
It will run every Saturday through the end of the month, and feature a different activity each Saturday.
It kicks off today with hockey and runs from two until five this afternoon.
Tracy Suerich, Program Coordinator for the Waterloo Public Square tells 570 News they got the idea for the Expo when the Olympic torch came through our area, and all four Saturdays feature Olympic events.
First up is hockey, with the Waterloo Siskins playing some three-on-three as well as some skills demonstrations.
Other activities in the weeks ahead include snowboarding and skiing, figure skating, and curling.
