Local tech company wins big contract

Cambridge’s COM DEV won the 7 million dollar contract to provide waveguide and coaxial switches for a commercial broadband communication satellite. COM DEV expects to complete work on the contract by next summer. CEO of COM DEV John Keating says broadband communications represents an important driver of demand for additional communication satellite capacity.
