A Kitchener Woman Faces Drunk Driving Charges

Provincial police that stopped a speeding vehicle on the 401 West of Highway 24 Saturday night got more than they bargained for.

Officers say the vehicle pulled over but started reversing towards the cruiser.

The driver only stopped after the officer sounded the horn.

The driver was allegedly impaired and a child was seen in the back of the car.

Kimberly Spencer, 35, of Kitchener is charged with assault with intent to resist arrest, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, impaired driving and having a blood alcohol content over .08.
