Vehicle flips during Weber Street collision, trapping driver within

Police are investigating a collision involving three vehicles that occurred Sunday morning in Kitchener. 

On Feb. 26 at 9:10 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision near Franklin Street North and Weber Street East. 

One vehicle had flipped on its side during the collision, trapping the driver within the vehicle.

The driver, a 59-year-old female woman, was extracted from the vehicle by the Kitchener Fire Department. 

There were no reported physical injuries as a result of the collision. 

Both areas were closed as police investigated. 

The investigation is ongoing.
