Two youths arrested after break-in at Kitchener business

Two youths were arrested after police responded to a Kitchener break-in.

On Jan. 28, at 1:55 a.m., police received a report of a break-and-enter in progress at a business near Lancaster Street West and Union Street.

The three male suspects gained entry via the rear of the property, took a large amount of merchandise, and were leaving the property when police arrived.

Two of the suspects, a youth from Kitchener and a youth from Woolwich Township, were located and arrested.

They were charged with Break and Enter - Committing Theft over $5,000 and Disguise with Intent. One of the youths was also charged with Failure to Comply with Release Order.

The investigation is ongoing.
