Funeral held for hit and run victim

Family and friends gathered in Kitchener to remember a man killed in a hit and run last week.

The Record has identified 40-year-old Wojciech Plaga as the victim of a hit and run on Highland Road, near Westforest Trail.

A funeral service was held at the Sacred Heart Church on Shanley Street on Saturday. 

Police continue to investigate the tragic incident and are asking anyone with dash cam video to contact them.
