Waterloo Regional Police have charged two owners, and two staff members at St. Louis Bar and Grill in Cambridge in connection with a fatal crash.

It happened November 6, 2019 in the Townline and Saginaw area of the city.

A vehicle allegedly struck a parked car and fled the scene, then later was involved in a crash with another vehicle.

The driver, a 67-year-old Puslinch man, was pronounced dead in hospital, and a 38-year-old Cambridge man was charged with impaired driving causing death.

Police say an investigation determined the Cambridge man left a licensed establishment before the collision.

St. Louis and four employees face a total of 21 charges under the Liquor Licence Act.
