New pop-up park setting up in Kitchener

If you're looking for something to do with the family this weekend, a new “pop-up park” is set up at Carl Zehr Square in downtown Kitchener. 

The city has partnered with '8 80 Cities' to convert the area into a pop-up park to hear more about what residents would like to see in future parks and open spaces in the city. 

Among the features include accessible pathways and play, nature-based play elements, open green space, cultural activities, an open fire, picnic tables, community food gardens, and interactive art.
