First season of Canada’s Drag Race will feature a local ‘queen’

The very first season of Canada's Drag Race premieres this summer, and it will feature a local queen.
“I'm just so excited to make you guys all proud and show you all of the hard work that I have been putting into this, and everything that I have been making, and just represent the Philippines and my hometown of Kitchener,” said 'Kyne' in a video posted to YouTube.
Kyne is one of 12 contestants to be cast for the show. They all have the chance to snatch the highly coveted crown, title, and of course – win a cash prize of $100,000.
RuPaul's Drag Race started off with a small cult-following, but now, it's beloved internationally.
There are 12 seasons of the American competition, and that's not including All-Stars or Drag Race UK.
Canada's Drag Race makes its debut on Crave on July 2.
