Police investigate crash in Cambridge, pedestrian struck

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a crash in Cambridge involving a pedestrian.

The collision was reported late Wednesday afternoon in the Franklin Boulevard and Dundas Street South area.

According to police, a pedestrian was struck and sustained severe, non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to an out-of-region hospital for treatment.

No further details on the crash were immediately available.

Police closed part of the Franklin/Dundas intersection for the investigation.
