Cinema at Frederick Mall closing next week

You'll no longer be able to catch a movie at Frederick Mall in Kitchener starting next week.
The cinema will be closing for good on August 30, with the last day of operation on August 29.
The long-standing theatre was renovated and taken over by Imagine Cinemas just over four years ago.
In a statement to its website, Imagine Cinemas said, “We would like to thank all of our past guests for their patronage and support.”
Gina Facca is Chief Operating Officer and provided a statement to 570 NEWS.
“Imagine Cinemas has decided to close the location located at the Frederick Mall in Kitchener at the end of it's lease in August 2019. Unfortunately after four years of trying we just couldn't make this location profitable.”
