Blendtek Ingredients Inc. opens new headquarters in Cambridge

Blendtek Ingredients Inc. has officially opened its new 85,000 square foot headquarters in Cambridge.
The facility, at 10 Goddard Crescent, will house the company's head office, as well as manufacturing and distribution facilities.
“The decision to build a new facility and undergo expansion was driven by our mission to fuel innovation in food, meet the growing needs of our customers and help address the market’s current supply chain challenges,” Rob Bianchin, Blendtek’s vice president explained in a news release.
“The investment will advance the development of new product formulations and significantly increase the production and distribution capacity of our ingredients and proprietary blends for domestic and international markets.”
Blendtek promotes itself as a premier ingredient solutions and product development company with a mission to challenge expectations and help fuel food innovation.
The company is also hiring for some positions.
Blendtek recently received over $940,000 from the provincial government's Regional Development Program, to support the creation of 21 new positions.
