Valerie Bradford is officially the MP-elect in Kitchener South-Hespeler.
Elections Canada updated its website Thursday morning to include the last poll for the riding, confirming the Liberal candidate Bradford defeated Conservative candidate Tyler Calver by 947 votes.
Bradford received 37.4 per cent of the vote, while Calver got 35.5 per cent.
Both of the leading candidates confirmed the result on their social media channels Tuesday night.
Elections Canada has yet to update results for the Kitchener-Conestoga riding.
Liberal Tim Louis held a 194 vote lead on Conservative Carlene Hawley with one poll yet to be reported.
Hawley posted a statement this week, indicating she doesn't believe the last poll will give her enough votes to overtake Louis.
