“Barking Mad” over sled dog slaughter

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Animal lovers upset over the Whistler dog cull are gathering in West Vancouver tomorrow for a doggy tweet-up.
It’s a protest organizer Catherine Barr hopes will shed light on the slaughter. “We are barking mad, we are wearing red, we want to see something like this never happen again…”
Hundreds of people are expected to be at Ambleside Park at noon. Barr says people all over the world will be joining in through Twitter.
“We want change. We’re not about threats or violence and we want the world to see us for what we really are, which is a very animal loving nation.”
