Guelph runner Taylor Milne leaves for the Commonwealth Games tonight.
The games start Sunday in New Delhi and Milne tells 570 News he’s not worried about the conditions in the athletes village.
There have been concerns in recent weeks, with some teams even pulling out.
Milne has watched video of his accommodations and says they look fine.
He adds he doesn’t think they would send them over there if they didn’t think things were adequate.
Milne’s specialty is the 1500-m. He says he’s been preparing just like any other race, building up his mileage leading up to the race.
This will be Milne’s first Commonwealth Games.
